WeWork, a startup that is also known for its virtual assistant, is bringing in 3.5 million employees this year, a growth of about 500,000 over last year, according to data released by the company today.
WeWork’s growth is even more impressive when you consider that in the same period, the total number of employees at the company fell by about 7,000 to 3.2 million.
The company’s hiring is the latest sign of a more dynamic and diverse workplace.
A recent survey of over 10,000 U.S. workers by The Washington Post found that more than two-thirds of those surveyed said they were working fewer hours this year.
And it’s the same survey that found that millennials have grown the most in the U.K. and Australia, according the BBC.
We’ve also seen an increase in the number of companies that are actively seeking talent, according a recent report by McKinsey and Co. In the past three years, the firm says, it has hired more than 2.2 billion employees worldwide.
“The demand for our skills, our talent is growing and our supply is growing,” WeWork co-founder and CEO Yossi Gurvitz told the Wall Street Journal.
“In the past two years, we have had an incredible increase in our number of hires.”
Gurvitz said the company has already seen a boost in revenue and profits in the past year, but it also has a plan to ramp up growth and create a better-paying environment for its workers.
The company recently announced that it is hiring a new CEO to lead the company.
“We’ve been working with some very strong leadership teams, and we have a lot of talent that we think can bring a lot to the table,” Gurviz said.
We have some really talented people, and I believe we are going to build a lot out of that.
“WeWork will hire a total of 1.5m workers this year to support the company’s expansion.
The hiring includes a number of new hires, including software developers, data scientists, designers, data analysts, marketers, and salespeople.
WeWork also announced that its cloud-based office platform, which is being rolled out by its competitor WordCamp, is now available to employees.
WeLive, WeWork’s online social network, is also going to be rolled out this year and will provide an even more seamless user experience, according ToLive.
We will also be adding more new talent to the WeWork team.
We are excited to be bringing in more and more talented people for our future,” WeLive CEO Rob Sosnowski said in a statement.”
When we launched WeWork back in 2013, it was a simple idea: bring together the best of technology, social and commerce, to create a truly collaborative workplace where we all work together for one common purpose: to make our products better,” Gurnitz said.”
Over the last few years, this has evolved into an ambitious goal.
We have seen tremendous growth in our workforce and we are very proud of what we have achieved.
But, we know that our workforce is only as strong as the people who are working for us.”
We are adding an extra 10,200 employees in the coming months, according Gurvittiz.
